About Us
What is FGBMFI?
The Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship International (FGBMFI) was founded in 1952 in Los Angeles by Mr. Demos Shakarian- a wealthy dairy farmer of Armenian origin. The expression FULL GOSPEL in the name of the association is central to the vision of the organization as stated by Shakarian, it represents miracle healings, speaking in tongues and powerful deliverances.

How We Work
The FGBMFI works through local Chapters with 10 to 20 members, and the individual chapters are then linked with regional, national and international networks. Chapters are the main platforms through which the soul winning business takes place.
Members are average business people who know the Lord and love him but haven't known how to show it. They tell testimonials and what is experienced of God to other men like themselves who might not believe what a preacher says, but will listen to a plumber, dentist, salesman, entrepreneur or managers as themselves.
It is about reaching men through unique methods not within usual church settings.

- We believe the Bible, in its entirety, to be the inspired Word of God and the final infallible rule of faith and conduct.
- We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
- We believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Christ.
- We believe in sanctification by the blood of Christ, in personal holiness of heart and life and in separation from the world.
- We believe in divine healing, through faith, and that healing is included in the Atonement.
- We believe that being baptized in the Holy Spirit is for believers today and speaking in tongues and the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still available.
- We believe in the Christian's hope- the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- We believe in intensive world evangelization work in accordance with the Great Commission, with signs following.
Goals and Objectives
The goal of FGBMFI is to reach out men throughout the world with the full Gospel message using unique methods, not within usual church settings.
The Great Commission's specific objectives are stipulated in (Mat 28: 19-20) as follows:
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Purpose
The main purpose is to win souls thus fulfilling the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ. The three-fold purpose includes:
- To witness to God's presence and power in the world today through the message of the total Gospel for the total person and to reach men and women and their families for Jesus Christ.
- To provide a basis for Christian fellowship among all people everywhere through a fellowship not directly associated with any specific church but co-operating with all those of like faith.
- To bring about a greater measure of unity and spirit of harmony in the body of Christ, where members are united in a common effort for the good of the whole of the body.
The Full Gospel Business Men's Fellowship International does not start churches; rather, we desire to be a service arm to existing ones.
